On February 26, in the capital’s celebration center “Ak altyn”, it was held a competition “Hünärim bar—hormatym bar” among employees of enterprises subordinate to the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

The competition was held in four categories:

The acquaintance-participant must introduce herself; show a scene from your working moments; demonstrate mastery of the national art of handicrafts; fashion show in a national dress.

Women and girls who took part in the competition dedicated to International Women's Day demonstrated their love and reverence for primordial national traditions and spiritual heritage.

All the participants’ performances were accompanied by thunderous applause, which testified to the significant role of women in our society, as the guardian of the family hearth and well-being.

The main prize of the competition (Grand Prix) was awarded to the telephone operator of the help brigade of the inquiry and service 09 of the Ashgabat City Telephone Network JSC of the "Turkmenaragatnashyk" agency, Govher Shamuhammedova.

“Representatives of the communications industry work conscientiously, achieve concrete results and take an active part in public life. And the fact that a telecommunications worker became the winner in this competition inspires us to new labor achievements,” the chairman of the trade union of the telecommunications company “Turkmentelekom” Gozel Taydzhikova noted.

The participants who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places were awarded valuable gifts and certificates of honor.

Also, on the occasion of March 8—International Women’s Day, the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan presented gifts and certificates of honor to all participants.

At the end of the event, the participants expressed gratitude to Arkadaghly Hero Serdar for his activities aimed at preserving and popularizing the national spiritual and material heritage.
