 China launched the world's first artificial intelligence satellite

The Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in China has successfully launched the first commercial artificial intelligence hypersatellite into orbit, CGTN reports. The Smart Dragon-3 (SD-3) launch vehicle blasted off from the launch site at 11:06 a.m. Beijing time, carrying a constellation of nine satellites, including an AI hypersatellite, into space.

The AI hypersatellite, known as Rongpiao or Xingshidai-18, is an integrated sensor network satellite equipped with the company's sixth generation of "satellite brain" system.

The AI satellite is designed to test the synesthesia algorithm in orbit and has the capability of a remote integrated platform for future communications networks.
