The uncompromising struggle that is unfolding between young chess players in all categories, without exception, testifies to the level of development of chess in different regions of the country. Such competition is dictated, among other things, by the motivation and desire of young athletes to represent their homeland as champions at international championships, the Chess Federation of Turkmenistan noted.

The national champions among cadets in classical chess will be determined on Saturday, February 3, following the results of 9 rounds.
