The legendary American boxer Mike Tyson will be one of the guests of the annual convention of the World Boxing Association (WBC), which will be held in Tashkent from November 12 to 17, Nuz.uz reports.

Tyson is a former absolute world heavyweight champion, holder of the WBC, WBA, IBF titles. He is also a US Junior Olympian. Tyson is known for his aggressive and powerful boxing style, which earned him the nickname "Iron Mike."

The WBC Congress is the largest international event in the world of boxing, where current issues in the development of this sport are discussed, seminars, trainings, exhibitions and awards are held. Representatives of national boxing federations, promoters, managers, coaches and famous boxers, attend the congress.

As part of the WBC convention in Tashkent, a grand evening of professional boxing will also take place, which will take place on November 17 at the Humo Arena.
