The President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the government to begin preparations for the State Council of Turkmenistan, which is to be held on September 23, the official Turkmen press writes today.

The Head of State said that important issues of further development of the country will be considered at this forum, and, therefore, it should be organized at a high level.

The holding of the State Council of Turkmenistan will be timed to the significant events of September, including the 31st anniversary of the country's independence.

Also, on September 1, the VII congress of the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly will be held in Ashgabat.
