For the first time in the history of Central Asia, the Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly will be held in Tashkent

The 150th anniversary assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) will be held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, from April 5th to 9th, 2025. This event will mark the first occasion in the history of Central Asia for hosting such an assembly and is expected to convene approximately 2,000 delegates from 181 countries, including 15 observer states and over 25 international organizations.

Indian Council for Cultural Relations announces scholarships for citizens of Turkmenistan

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) has announced the availability of scholarships for citizens of Turkmenistan to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs across various disciplines, as well as to study Indian culture, encompassing dance, music, theatre, performing arts, sculpture, Indian languages, culinary arts, and related fields, at various universities in India during the academic year 2025-2026.
