Khiva is Preparing for the Traditional Melon Festival

From August 8 to 10, the traditional festival "Qovun sayli" - "Melon Festival" will be held in Khorezm - in the Khiva complexes of Ichan-Kala and Arda Khiva.

As part of the festival, organized by the Tourism Committee and the Khokimiyat of the Khorezm region of Uzbekistan, the cities and districts of the region will hold a melon exhibition and fair. The pavilions will be festively decorated taking into account regional features.

In addition, theatrical performances, a puppet theater and a show of national costumes, exhibitions of national dishes and Khorezm bread, works of fine and applied art, master classes, performances by art groups and folklore groups, as well as a gala concert with the participation of national and foreign stars will be organized.
