On the evening of September 27, on the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, high-rise buildings on Novy Arbat in Moscow will be illuminated in the colors of the Turkmen national flag, the Turkmen embassy in the Russian Federation reported. A meeting of Chief Justices of Supreme Court of China and Central Asian countries was held in Urumqi. On September 25, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Belarus hosted a festive meeting with Turkmen students from higher educational institutions of Minsk. The ceremonial event was dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence and the Year of Magtymguly Fragi.

Today, 25 September, in the conference hall of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan, a solemn ceremony of handing over passports to persons granted citizenship of Turkmenistan and residence permits to foreign citizens residing in Turkmenistan took place.

By the decree of the President of Turkmenistan, the Concept for the development of the city of Arkadag for 2024-2052 has been approved.
