Ashgabat to host first-ever exclusive “India Show” exhibition

On 14-17 August 2018, Ashgabat will host the first exclusive exhibition of products and services of India, organized by the Indian Trade Promotion Organization with support of Indian Embassy to Turkmenistan. The venue of the “India Show” will be Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, which hosted dozens of international and national expo events.
According to information provided from ITPO, the program of the event will comprises of initial three day of multi-brands exhibition and at the last day (17 August) business forum and a seminar on strengthen bilateral trade relations between India and Turkmenistan will be held.
Over 100 Indian companies will demonstrate their wide-range export-oriented products and services in Ashgabat, including software for e-Governances, IT, satellite technologies, education, film-industry.
The exhibition will feature such industries as iron and steel products, construction machinery and building materials, gas and petro products, automobile, electronic industry, technologies alternative power energy, chemical industry
The light industry will be presented by enterprises, specializing in such areas as footwear, leather industry, textiles, cosmetics, sports goods.
It is expected that the Turkmen food producers as well as general public will show interest to the stands and pavilions, devoted to food industry. This sector will show technologies for preserving food and fruit items, food processing, agroindustry, tea, coffee, fisheries and marine products.
Some pavilions will tell about the latest achievement in such areas of Indian medicine as pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, Ayurveda, yoga, homoeopathy, medical tourism.
The organizers of the exhibition hopes that this multiproduct show will contribute to expansion of cooperation between Indian business community and Turkmenistan’s market as well as other neighboring CIS markets, since it is unexplored destination for Indians. There is win-win position for both exporters and importers, says ITPO, as it will create a space for interaction of government circles, private sector and consumers.
