Oriented on making people closer

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Turkmenistan held a meeting with young eco-activists to familiarize them with the activities of UNDP in Turkmenistan in the area of environment and climate change and engage youth in the initiatives to raise environmental awareness and promote environmentally friendly behavior among population.

The Office of Ombudsperson with the support of the UNDP in Turkmenistan actively participated in the series of online regional workshops on Accreditation by the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI) in the framework of the newly launched Accreditation Program of Asian Pacific Forum of National Human Rights Institutions (APF).

Within the framework of the project "Supporting climate resilient livelihoods in agricultural communities in drought-prone areas of Turkmenistan" jointly implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan and the GEF Special Climate Change Fund (SCCF), a working meeting was held in online format to discuss the curriculum on integrated water resources management (IWRM).

In the framework of the project “Strengthening the Trade Capacity of Turkmenistan”, jointly implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, the online training on eliminating trade barriers and trade facilitation was held.
