The head of Turkmenistan received messages of congratulations on Oraza-the holy holiday for Muslims around the world. So, best wishes to Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Turkmen people sent President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

On March 22, 2022 local time, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi was invited to attend and speak at the opening ceremony of the Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The validity of passports of citizens of Turkmenistan abroad will be extended until December 31, 2024. This applies to those temporarily residing or permanently residing in other countries of Turkmenistan, whose validity passports for entry and exit from Turkmenistan expire from 1 January 2023 to 30 December 2024.

On 26 and 27 April 2022, the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat organized an online seminar on the tasks and functions of law enforcement and supervisory bodies in implementing the 2021-2022 Risk Management Action Plan (RMAP) on anti-money laundering and countering financing of terrorism (AML/CFT). The event was organized as part of the Centre’s support to the host country in preparation for the Eurasian Group’s (EAG) mutual evaluation process.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Wednesday inspected the cultural and park complex in the south of Ashgabat with the Makhtumkuli Fragi monument, the opening of which is scheduled for June this year.
