In Minsk, in the large building of the House of Writers, on Thursday, April 18, a creative evening dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi was held. The event was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus together with the Writers' Union of the Republic of Belarus.

On 19 April 2024, a Turkmen delegation led by president of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Allaberdy Ashirov held a meeting with the Chairman of the Creative Union of Writers of Georgia Makvala Gonashvili.

A chamber music concert was successfully held at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after May Kulieva. It is the second in a series of concerts dedicated to the year of Magtymguly. Its organizer is Stella Faramazova, a senior teacher at the conservatory and a winner of international competitions. The program of the musical evening included works by Turkmen authors.

In 2024, the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the Turkmen poet Magtymguly Pyragy was included in the UNESCO List of Memorable Dates, which confirms the outstanding universal and enduring value of the classic's work, its importance in world culture.

A monument to the great Turkmen poet Magtymguly will be erected in Astana, and in Ashgabat - to the Kazakh poet Abay Kunanbayuly. The Consul of Turkmenistan in Aktau Meretdurdy Abdyllaev said this. According to him, the monuments will be installed this year, which is marked by the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly.

The start of accepting applications for the contest of videos or presentations "Seeds of Wisdom: Lessons of great minds", dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet, philosopher Magtymguly Pyragy, has been announced.

On Sunday, April 14, the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater in Ashgabat was filled with special kind of tunes. The theater hosted a joint a capella concert by the American group Pipeline Vocal Project and students from the Turkmen State Special Music School named after Danatar Ovezov. Earlier, a similar a capella concert was held in Dashoguz by the American performers and the Dashoguz Special School of Arts named after Magtymguly Garlyyev. The performances were made possible through mutual cooperation between the U.S. Embassy and the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.

On Tuesday, April 16, in the Great Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva, an anniversary “Concert-Dialogue” will be held, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the remarkable music teacher, associate professor of the department of wind and percussion instruments Berdyniyaz Rejepmedov.

The Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kulieva is one of the most important cultural centers of the country, where the musical talents of the future are formed. A significant event in the life of the educational institution was the Week of the Department of Music History. Within its framework, open lessons and master classes, lectures and concerts, scientific and practical conferences, competitions on world musical culture were held in the format of testing students and music quizzes.

A book about objects included in the State Register of Historical and Cultural Monuments of the country will be published in Turkmenistan. Its release coincides with Culture Week, which is held in June. This year the event is being hosted by the city of Arkadag.
