Leaders of global incentive tourism gather in Istanbul


The Society for the Promotion of Incentive Tourism (SITE), a leading association in the field of incentive tourism, organized the Global Conference 2024 in Istanbul.
The conference brought together nearly 500 travel industry representatives from around the world to exchange ideas and find innovative ways to shape the future of the industry. It covered a variety of topics from the future of tourism to the latest trends in technology, with a special focus on artificial intelligence (AI). The three-day event included various thematic sessions and trainings.
The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency supported the event.
The global conference is the flagship event of the SITE Society for the Promotion of Incentive Tourism. It attracts participants from all over the world, including the United States of America (USA), Great Britain, Canada, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Spain, Mexico, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Greece, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Cayman Islands, China, Croatia, Poland, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Egypt, Jordan, India, Italy, Netherlands, Panama, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Rwanda, Scotland, Monaco, Morocco, Oman, Singapore, Slovenia, Vietnam, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates (UAE), South Africa, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Uganda and Tanzania.
As part of the conference program, participants also had the opportunity to get to know Istanbul. In addition, the pre- and post-tour allowed participants to visit other incentive tourism destinations throughout Turkey.

Founded in 1973, SITE is the only global business events association entirely dedicated to incentive tourism. The Society has 2,600 members in 87 countries, 28 local and regional branches around the world.
The organization provides value to its members internationally and locally through networking efforts, online resources, training and certification.
Incentive tourism is a special sector of tourism used by companies to reward their employees and encourage them to take on new tasks.
