At the auctions of the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past
week, representatives of the business circles of Turkey, the United Arab Emirates,
Great Britain, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and other countries purchased
polypropylene, jet fuel, gasoline of various brands, lighting kerosene produced by
the enterprises of the state concern Turkmennebit and carbamide from the plants of

Portland cement, handmade carpets, denim and terry products, denim and cotton fabrics, cotton yarn, dry licorice root extract, purified cotton waste were also sold for foreign currency. They were acquired by the UAE, Turkey, Serbia, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan.

In general, the amount of export contracts for the SCRMET week amounted to more than 109 million 641 thousand US dollars.

Turkmen companies purchased petroleum bitumen and mixed paraffin gach, float sheet glass, glass containers, handmade carpets, terry products, cotton yarn and fabric for the domestic market. The total value of transactions exceeded 33 million 318 thousand manats.

In just one week, 75 exchange transactions were registered.
