A delegation from the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan, led by Ambassador Atajan Movlamov, visited Capital Smart City, the country's largest "smart city" project currently under development, located 30 minutes from Islamabad. During the visit, both sides praised the level of technological solutions being implemented and expressed deep interest in exploring potential cooperation and exchanging experiences in urban development and innovative technologies.
During the familiarization tour, the Turkmen diplomats were given a detailed tour of the master plan for Capital Smart City, designed to accommodate over 1.7 million people. They toured key construction and infrastructure facilities. This large-scale project includes modern residential and commercial areas, a financial center, educational and medical institutions, developed transportation infrastructure, as well as tourist and recreational areas.

The Pakistani side placed particular emphasis on the implementation of intelligent technologies, including traffic management systems, digital security solutions, video surveillance networks, and modern energy and telecommunications infrastructure, which directly echoes the experience gained during the construction of the Arkadag smart city in Turkmenistan.
