The President of Turkmenistan Met with the Head of the Italian Company Leonardo S.p.A

The meeting took place in Rome, which the head of state described not only as a city with a rich history and culture, but also as an important political and economic center of Europe.
Stefano Pontecorvo noted that the talks held during the visit will help further strengthen ties between Turkmenistan and Italy. He added that Leonardo is honored to work on projects in Turkmenistan, a country confidently pursuing progress and development. The President, in turn, expressed confidence in the continued advancement of cooperation.
In recent years, Italy has become one of Turkmenistan's key partners in Europe, with joint projects spanning a wide range of sectors, from energy and transportation to agriculture and cutting-edge technology. Nevertheless, during the meeting, the parties discussed how to take cooperation to a new, higher level in order to launch further promising initiatives.
