The provision of quality education is inconceivable without the timely and well-considered preparation of educational literature. This cornerstone of the educational process requires a systematic approach from educators and methodologists to the creation of textbooks and manuals at all stages of instruction.

Following the plan approved by the Ministry of Education for 2025, a meeting of the academic and methodological council of secondary vocational educational institutions of Arkadag city, Ashgabat, and the Akhal velayat was held on May 16th. The key topic of discussion was the regulation on the procedure for the order of publication of textbooks and manuals, approved by order of the Minister of Education No. 98 dated March 20, 2024. The Director of the Indira Gandhi Medical School of Ashgabat provided a detailed explanation of the content of this important document and the key requirements for educational publications.

In conclusion of the meeting, the necessity of strengthening control by heads of educational institutions over the strict adherence to the educational literature publication plan was emphasized. As illustrative examples, participants were presented with samples of textbooks, methodological recommendations for writing reviews of them, as well as examples of minutes from meetings of the relevant methodological councils.
