On May 16, the Minsk International Exhibition Center "BelExpo" hosted a familiarization tour of the exhibition "Road to Victory" organized by the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The exposition is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

The event was attended by an international delegation of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS member states to the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth. The Ambassador got acquainted with the exhibition, which presents more than 600 unique exhibits dedicated to the theme of the Great Patriotic War. The exhibition chronologically covers the key stages of the war - from the attack on the Soviet Union to the complete defeat of Nazi Germany.

Particular attention in the exhibition is given to the use of interactive elements and modern technologies. Visitors can view various maps, films, and use special terminals.

The creators of the exhibition actively use holograms to recreate tragic or heroic episodes, for example, the execution of Commissar Fomin or a story about partisan weapons. Virtual reality is also used: thanks to special glasses, you can feel like a participant in the events of May 1945, for example, virtually climb the dome of the Reichstag and hoist the Victory Banner.

The participation of the Permanent Plenipotentiary Representative of Turkmenistan to the CIS in this excursion underlines the importance of preserving the common historical memory of the Great Victory for the Commonwealth countries. This demonstrates Turkmenistan's deep respect for the feat of the peoples who fought against fascism, and our country's commitment to preserving the historical truth and memory of the war within the framework of integration associations such as the CIS.

The exhibition "Road to Victory" will continue its work until June 5.
