New trends in Turkmen poultry farming

The complex has an area of 23 hectares – separate workshops for incubation, keeping turkeys, gestation of turkey hens and cocks, forage conservation, as well as killing and sausage rooms equipped with technology of Aviagen French company.
The company has been producing turkeys since 2013. On the territory of the complex, different species of these birds are grown with proper observance of the housing conditions. Employees of the poultry farm for a long time selected turkeys that are perfectly adapted to local climatic conditions.
According to the head of the enterprise, the poultry farm has digital video equipment for monitoring poultry houses, as well as five types of measuring devices. They are used to measure air temperature and humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed and ammonia content, which is necessary for the health of birds.
In the modern incubator of the complex, there have been bred 12,500 turkeys at the last stage. In the future, producers also plan to take up local breeding of turkeys.
In fact, turkey production plays a key role in providing the population with full-fledged dietary products. Turkey meat is good for health and is in great demand in the world. This dietary product is included in the diet of athletes, people with diabetes, mums-to-be and young children. Eggs of this bird are also widely used in cooking and cosmetology.
Poultry farming is practically waste-free production. Even turkey feathers and down are used in the production of pillows, feather beds, blankets, ladies’ hats, etc.
