Oriented on making people closer

From March 28th to 30th, 2025, the Russian Film Festival will be held in Ashgabat at the cinema located in the "Berkarar" Shopping and Entertainment Center. The festival is organized by the state organization РОСКИНО with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia.

Turkmenistan is the first country within the Commonwealth of Independent States to host the Russian Film Festival this year.

The festival program features four films, including family-oriented blockbusters, as well as an animated film for young audiences.

Among these are the family fairy tale "Финист. Первый богатырь", which became a box office success in Russian cinema, "Огниво" – a magical screen adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's tale of the same name, "Огненный лис" – a documentary film about the nature of Kamchatka, and the animated adventure "Большое путешествие. Вокруг света".

The organizers emphasize that particular attention has been paid to family films that will be of interest to both children and adults.

РОСКИНО, which has been representing Russian cinema abroad for over 100 years, continues the traditions of cultural exchange between Russia and Turkmenistan, making this festival an important event for both nations.
