In Turkmenistan, a training course on the utilization of the national electronic tuberculosis registry was conducted
28.03.2025 | 16:08 |The Country Office of the World Health Organization (WHO) conducted a training course for specialists from clinical and laboratory services of Turkmenistan on the utilization of the national electronic tuberculosis registry (TB-RRIS).
The course was organized within the framework of a visit by experts from the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe (WHO/Europe) to Turkmenistan from March 24th to 28th, 2025.
The experts also conducted a technical assessment of the national electronic tuberculosis registry (TB-RRIS), providing relevant recommendations for the further improvement of the system's operation. The possibility of implementing this electronic program in medical institutions of other regions of the country was also discussed.
The digital tuberculosis registry and reporting system (TB-RRIS) enables real-time monitoring of tuberculosis cases and treatment progress, as well as data-driven decision-making for healthcare professionals.
