Chinese cities transition to "smart" city management with DeepSeek

China is actively implementing artificial intelligence technologies in urban governance, utilizing the DeepSeek model to optimize public services. This innovation is part of a broader digital transformation strategy aimed at enhancing management efficiency and improving the quality of life for citizens.

Notably, the city of Shenzhen has become the first in the nation to integrate DeepSeek into its public service system. The DeepSeek model enables the automation of document processing, emergency management, and the provision of public services, which significantly reduces the time required for administrative tasks and increases the accuracy of request handling. For example, in the Longgang district, document formatting accuracy has reached up to 95%, and verification time has been reduced by 90%.

Furthermore, the system assists in creating credit profiles for businesses, thereby facilitating access to financial support.
