Turkmenistan: The transport hub of the future ▶️
27.11.2024 | 20:29 |The International Conference and Exhibition "International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development - 2024" concluded in Ashgabat. This large-scale event brought together nearly 600 participants from over 40 countries, including representatives from the world's largest transportation companies and organizations.
The forum's primary goal was to strengthen international transportation cooperation, introduce innovations, and develop sustainable logistics. Particular emphasis was placed on promoting green technologies and digital transformation in the transport and communications sector.
The exhibition impressed with its modern solutions, ranging from demonstrations of the capabilities of the "smart city" Arkadag to innovative projects of the “Balkan” Shipyard, which is forming the national maritime fleet. Participants noted the importance of the Turkmenbashy International Seaport as a key transit hub in the Caspian region.
Turkmenistan is actively constructing roads, modernizing infrastructure, and developing multimodal transportation, positioning itself as a crucial logistics link in the Eurasian region. The Ashgabat-Turkmenabat highway, new vessels, and technological advancements are testament to the high investment potential of the country's transport sector.
Turkmenistan confidently positions itself as an efficient and promising partner on the global transport arena, paving the way for cooperation and innovation.
