Oriented on making people closer

On the eve of the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence, the Ashgabat City Telephone Network (AGTS) organized a competition among its young specialists on information technology skills. This is reported on the website of the telecom operator.

The competition was held with the participation of eight teams of four participants each. The participants demonstrated their skills in performing installation and configuration work on creating IT networks, registering or disabling ports on really working switch devices. They also demonstrated the skills of setting up WiFi routers, ADSL modems, the ability to connect IP TV services, Belet Film, Älem TV and others.

According to the source, optical and Ethernet cables were brought to the competition venue in advance, the correct crimping or connection of which was also one of the conditions of the competition.

As a result, the victory was won by the team of the Technical Communication Node (TUS) No. 1, the second place was taken by the team of the Technical Communication Node No. 3, and the third place was taken by the team of the Technical Communication Node TUS No.2. The winners received valuable prizes.
