Oriented on making people closer

Today, a telephone conversation took place between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who congratulated the head of our state on his birthday, wished him good health, happiness, and great success.

The President of Uzbekistan conveyed greetings to National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who made a huge personal contribution to the strengthening and comprehensive development of interstate relations, TDH reports.

During the conversation, it was noted that relations between the two countries are at a high level, they successfully interact both bilaterally and within authoritative structures. The proximity of views on current issues of world and regional politics serves as a solid basis for coordinating efforts in the international space. The heads of state exchanged views on the prospects for Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation, covering a wide range of areas, including agriculture, electric power, oil and gas, chemical industries, etc. Fruitful interaction has been established between the regions, parliamentary and cultural-humanitarian ties are developing.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov thanked Shavkat Mirziyoyev for his great personal contribution to the development of good-neighborly relations between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
