 The Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus discussed the expansion of economic ties with the Ambassador to Turkmenistan

The activities of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Turkmenistan in the context of the current tasks of the government of the Republic of Belarus were considered during a working meeting between Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Petr Parkhomchik and the head of the diplomatic mission Vyacheslav Beskosty on Tuesday, July 16.

Particular attention was paid to expanding trade and economic ties and promoting the export of Belarusian products. Petr Parkhomchik, who oversees industry in the government of the Republic of Belarus, emphasized the importance of intensifying work to build up trade and economic ties, including increasing the supply of industrial products and developing cooperation.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed confidence in the further successful representation of the interests of Belarus and the promotion of the economic agenda. Following the meeting, relevant instructions were given to government bodies for the effective implementation of previously accepted obligations on interaction and its expansion, BelTA reports.

Last month, the prospects for the supply of a wide range of Belarusian agricultural machinery to the Turkmen market were discussed as part of the visit to the Republic of Belarus of a delegation of business circles of Turkmenistan with a view to visit the International Specialized exhibition "BELAGRO-2024".
