Intel is preparing innovative AI developments for the Paris Olympics

These new AI-based technologies, running on Intel hardware and software, are designed to demonstrate how artificial intelligence can improve coverage of one of the world's biggest sports events.
This summer, viewers will be able to enjoy streaming in 8K resolution for the first time. This will be possible thanks to the latest Intel Xeon processors, which encode and compress the live signal to broadcast services in just milliseconds.
Other technologies will allow fans to become an Olympic athlete, providing them with an unforgettable experience.
Intel's AI technology is also being used to preserve Olympic legacy by converting video footage of Olympic artifacts into 3D digital models.
Intel will continue to develop similar technologies ahead of the Olympic Games.
