Oriented on making people closer

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myakhri Byashimova met on Friday, April 19, with Ambassador of Malaysia in Ashgabat Mohd Suhaimi Bin Ahmad Tajuddin.

The diplomats exchanged views on the main areas of bilateral relations. Myakhri Byashimova pointed out the possibilities of intensifying cooperation in the areas of investment and trade, and tapping into new prospects.

The interlocutors agreed that the expansion of economic ties in the coming years could be facilitated by the organization of mutual visits at the level of ministers, government representatives and business circles of the two countries.

The parties noted the importance of developing inter-parliamentary relations by establishing the practice of exchanging parliamentary delegations.

During the conversation, issues of interaction in the field of tourism and cultural and humanitarian issues were also touched upon.
