The eco-tournament involves holding competitions in collecting and sorting waste, in which anyone can take part.
It is expected to organize 130 clean games in Russia and 50 games in other countries.
The winners of the “Eurasian Cup of Cleanliness 2024” will first be determined in each country, and then the results of the entire international tournament will be summed up.
“The Eurasian Cup of Cleanliness is not only a tournament, but also part of a large volunteer ecosystem that the Clean Games project is building. By uniting in real environmental activities, we are all moving towards an idea that is daring in concept - the Earth Cleanliness Cup,” the founder and director of the Clean Games, Dmitry Ioffe said.
The Clean Games are competitions for the separate collection and sorting of waste, during which participants are divided into teams of up to four people. Each game involves from 30 to 1,500 people.
