German carbon black distributor PentaCarbon has signed an agreement on “exclusive cooperation” with Turkmen carbon black producer Eziz Dag, marking a significant development in the supply of thermal carbon black N990 to the European market, according to ChemAnalyst, an online platform for analyzing the market and offers of the chemical and petrochemical industries around the world.

The distributor called the joint project with Eziz Dag a key initiative, stressing that it is introducing additional thermal soot production facilities on the market.

The TurkmenCarbon production enterprise has a design capacity that allows it to produce 10 thousand tons of carbon black per year. This versatile material finds applications in rubber, plastics and construction, making it an essential component in various industries.

In addition to the expansion momentum, Eziz Dag Group recently opened a new carbon black plant in Mary region. The passport capacity of this modern enterprise is 3,000 tons per year, which further confirms Eziz Dag’s commitment to meeting the growing needs of the carbon black market.

The synergy between the German distributor and the Turkmen manufacturer brings an element of dynamics to the market, increasing its stability and adaptability. This cooperation not only ensures the supply chain of thermal soot to the European market, but also lays the foundation for future developments in the field of gas rubber soot.

As the industry develops, the partnership demonstrates a visionary approach in ensuring a stable and diversified carbon black supply chain for European industry, ChemAnalyst notes.

Germany dominates the European carbon black market due to the most significant tire production. In addition, it is predicted that in the coming years in the EU region there will be an increase in demand for carbon black from the segment of tires and rubber products, experts from the advisory agency for market information Mordor Intelligence believe.
