USAID Trade Central Asia activity invites tomato and melon producers and exporters to the conference on promoting their products to new markets

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Trade Central Asia activity is inviting Turkmenistan's leading private companies growing and/or exporting tomatoes and melons to an international conference to raise awareness of new markets and the requirements to the products in those markets.

The event will take place on November 15, 2023 from 14:00 to 18:00 at the Yildiz Hotel. It will be held in a hybrid format: international consultants will attend via the Internet platforms, and producers will be invited to the hotel conference room.

Participants will be presented with the results of a global marketing study conducted by an international analytical company on identifying three new export directions for freshly grown fruits and vegetables from Turkmenistan.

Also, in order to improve understanding of the technical and commercial standards for fresh tomatoes and melons, retailers and food importers in identified export markets will speak about the requirements they place on their suppliers. In addition, experts will share the information about the international standards that are required to export these products to the countries identified as a result of the study.

Please note: only the first 40 companies to submit applications by November 05, 2023, 18:00 will be invited to participate. To participate in the event, you must fill out this registration form.
