Deputy Prime Minister Amannepesov will represent Turkmenistan at the EU- CA summit in Cholpon-Ata
30.05.2023 | 14:17 |Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nurmuhammet Amannepesov will take part in the second EU-Central Asia summit, which will be held on June 2 in the Kyrgyz city of Cholpon-Ata. The event will be chaired by the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov. This is reported by the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The summit will also be attended by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the European Council Charles Michel.
The current cooperation and its prospects in trade, political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres between the two regions will be discussed. There will be an exchange of views on topical international issues and cooperation between Central Asia and the European Union.
It is reported that President Sadyr Zhaparov will hold bilateral meetings with the heads of delegations.
The next day, June 3, the official visit of the President of the European Council Charles Michel to the Kyrgyz Republic will take place.
