The opening day and the master class! Transcript of the "Week of Turkmen Composers"

The second day of the "Week of Turkmen Composers" was a great success. It began with a vernissage of paintings by Turkmen painters. Canvases dedicated to musical themes filled the halls of the conservatory. Works in various techniques were presented: graphics, painting, tapestry, etc.

The paintings on D.Filipchenko's velvet were awarded with enthusiastic exclamations from the audience. The guests of the exhibition, realizing that the trick of such panels is a sense of relief and depth, tried to view the canvases from different angles.

The bright and cheerful tones of the paintings by artists A.Koshiliyeva, B.Charyyev, B.Nuryyev also attracted the attention of the guests. The works of G.Rozykulova, S.Meredov, A.Amanklycheva seemed to sound in unison with the musical mood and the atmosphere of the holiday.

The authors of the remarkable works themselves were also present at the exhibition. They were happy to tell visitors about their works. In parallel with the exposition, an online master class of the composer and teacher of the Kazan Conservatory Merdan Bashimov took place. In music circles, Merdan is rightfully considered an expert and specialist in this field.

Tajigul Kurbanova, a member of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan, made an introductory speech at the opening of the exhibition. She introduced her colleagues and said important words about the interconnection of all the arts. As examples, she told about an artist who creates canvases while listening to music. The sounds of melodies not only allow you to escape from routine and immerse yourself in creativity, but also create a kind of dynamics, the rhythm of the creative process. And, of course, the emotional component. After all, the artist can display all the feelings caused by music on canvases.

Here is another interesting example of this: Ahmet Halliyev, who has become quite famous recently – and indeed, an extraordinary photographer, as well as a subtle painter, while drawing battle scenes, listens to rock compositions and in general, music of a courageous, militant nature.

After a little immersion in the world of fine art, it was the turn of music. Merdan Bashimov's master class was dedicated to music technologies. They are everywhere and today there is nowhere without them. Not only musicians, but also representatives of other spheres and regions gathered to listen to him.

Merdan was able to talk about complex things in a simple and understandable way. So, the listeners learned the difference between an analog and a digital signal, or, for example, how 8-bit, 24-bit or 48-bit audio tracks differ. This lecture aroused the greatest interest among students-composers. Long before the start of the master class, they occupied seats in the front rows, so as not to miss something important. The world of music technology is so developed today that it is impossible to put information about it in the framework of one master class. But there will be others.
