BELTA: Lukashenko proposed to create favorable conditions for immigrants from the USSR to move to Belarus
01.04.2023 | 19:34 |“We are happy to accept into our national family everyone who shares our spiritual and moral principles, who, like us, is worried about the future, who wants to raise their children on traditional values,” President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said on Friday in his message to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly.
The head of state suggested thinking about creating conditions for the relocation of immigrants from the USSR to Belarus. He noted that thousands of foreigners with their families are finding a new home and homeland on Belarusian land. There are many highly educated people among the newcomers, with the competencies Belarus needs, with “golden hands,” he said.
“We need to think about creating certain conditions for them that would encourage such people to move to us, those who want to transfer their business here,” Lukashenko said.
