The volume of gas transportation to Europe via the Trans Adriatic Pipeline is named
28.03.2023 | 10:54 |Since the beginning of commercial operation, the volume of gas transportation to Europe via the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) has amounted to 22 billion cubic meters, Trend reports with reference to Luca Schiepatti, Managing Director of TAP.
"We have supplied more than 22 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe. To meet market demand, we have been close to full capacity since mid—February 2022, and have developed commercial products to increase short-term capacity," he said, speaking at the European Gas Conference.
The Trans-Adriatic Pipeline, which is the European part of the Southern Gas Corridor, annually supplies 8 billion cubic meters of gas to Italy and 1 billion cubic meters each to Greece and Bulgaria.
On December 31, 2020, deliveries of Azerbaijani blue fuel to Europe via the Southern Gas Corridor began.
