 Turkmen music will be performed at the Volga music fest 2023 in Dubna

The second Volga music fest Classical Music Festival takes place from March 15 to April 1 in Dubna (Moscow region). The program of the festival, organized by pianists Vladimir and Elena Sushkov, includes free master classes of famous musicians, creative meetings with outstanding cultural figures and, of course, classical music concerts.

The festival is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Sergei Rachmaninov, but at the concert on March 30, where Daria and Mamed Guseynovs, a married and creative duo of performers who have been popularizing Turkmen musical art from the big stage for many years, will perform works not only by the Russian composer, the musicians will introduce the audience to the composers of Turkmenistan! So, the concert will feature compositions by Nury Halmammedov, Jeren Kurbanklycheva and Mamed Guseynov.

Daria Guseynova is an opera singer, an artist of the Moscow Musical Theater "Helikon-Opera", a laureate of All-Russian and International competitions, took part in a number of master classes of world-famous opera soloists: Elena Obraztsova, Marina Meshcheryakova, and Alexander Antonenko.

Her art has repeatedly conquered the listeners of many cities of the Russian Federation, Germany, Holland, Israel, Spain, Canada, Portugal, Turkmenistan, Finland, France, Sweden, Estonia, etc.

Mamed Guseynov is a composer, public figure, art director of the Moscow International Festival of Arts "Sounds of Dutar" named after him. Nury Halmamedov, Chairman of the Turkmen regional branch of the Union of Composers of Eurasia, a graduate of the RAM named after Gnessin, winner of many All-Russian and international competitions. He participated in festivals in Russia, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, and Canada.

The works of Mamed Guseynov are performed by many famous musicians, including artists of the Bolshoi Theater, Helikon Opera, orchestras of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the L. V. Nikolaev Youth Symphony Orchestra of Russia, the Orchestra of the Caspian countries, the String Orchestra of Turkmenistan conducted by Tahyr Atayev.
