Turkmen students celebrated Novruz at BSU Lyceum
24.03.2023 | 10:53 |A festival dedicated to the International Novruz Day was held at the Lyceum of the Belarusian State University with the active participation of students from Turkmenistan. The event brought together guests from different parts of the world, including Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Palestine and Iran.
Students presented their culture, history and traditions at the exhibition of national attributes, costumes, jewelry, works of art and literature. The guests of the celebration were also able to enjoy a variety of national dishes.
The festive concert pleased the audience with creative performances of students and invited guests. Songs in native languages, dances and music, poems and a quiz created an atmosphere of joy and unity.
The festival was organized by the Council of Fellowships of BSU, the Department for Educational Work with Youth and the Department for Cultural Affairs.
Novruz is a holiday that unites nations and symbolizes the renewal of life. BSU students showed an excellent example of how to preserve and develop their cultural identity, as well as respect and appreciate the cultures of others.
