Oriented on making people closer

Turkmenistan is represented at the XXX Minsk International Book Fair, which takes place in the Belarusian capital from March 22 to 26 under the slogan "The world of books without borders."

The central exhibitor of the exhibition was the exposition of 16 diplomatic missions accredited in the Republic of Belarus, including the Embassy of Turkmenistan, employees of which demonstrate on their stand national book projects, historical, scientific and publicistic publications, magazines on the history, culture and art of the Turkmen people.

The national stand was complemented by colorful photographs illustrating the present day of the country, its traditions, and modern architecture. The attention of participants and visitors of the exhibition was also attracted by the bright national clothes - a red robe and a white telpek, in which one of the employees of the diplomatic mission was dressed, aroused curiosity and many questions.

Among the guests of honor of the book exhibition was Mikhail Shvydkoy, special representative of the President of Russia for international cultural cooperation, who could not pass by a stand with the inscription "Turkmenistan" and a green flag and stopped to personally greet the representatives of our country with a handshake.
