The football player of the national team of Turkmenistan Maya Musatskaya signed a contract with the Lithuanian club "Zalgiris" (Vilnius), playing in the A-League of the Lithuanian football championship.

According to the player's agent, Musatskaya will transfer to the Lithuanian team as a free agent. The contract will expire at the end of this season.

It is worth noting that the Turkmen footballer has already managed to play her debut match with the Lithuanian club.

Musatskaya appeared on the field in the main squad in the match against Vilnius (1:2) as part of the Winter Cup of the Lithuanian Women's Football Association (LMFA). In the Lithuanian club, the athlete plays as number 80.

The last club of the native of Turkmenistan was the Turkish "Dudullu spor", which she left at the end of January 2023. The footballer has been playing for the Istanbul club since September 2022.

Maya Musatskaya is the first football player from Turkmenistan who performs abroad. She was born in 2000. She was a pupil of the Altyn Tach football club. He has experience playing for football and futsal teams in Ashgabat. In 2016, she made her debut for the Turkmenistan national football team.
