School No. 21 to host open lesson with the participation of international experts
19.05.2022 | 23:43 |"Education for the Sake of Justice" - open lessons on this topic will be held on May 20 in the 4th and 9th grades of the capital's specialized school No. 21. The event is organized by international experts from the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia together with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) “Safe Migration in Central Asia” project implemented by Winrock International. For elementary school students, the topic of the open lesson is “Safe Internet”. Specialists will talk with children about the ability to organize teamwork, develop stress tolerance skills, properly resolve conflict situations, and assist in resolving ethical dilemmas. Children will be shown themed animated films.
High school students will listen to a lecture on the topic "Human Trafficking" using visual materials and videos. The presentation will be followed by a lecture and discussion in English about crime and how to avoid the influence of negative people. To reinforce the topic, experts will conduct role-playing and board games with young people.
Representatives of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Department on Education and International Relations of the Ashgabat City Hall, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the Orient news agency, as well as a specialist from the “Ish Nokady” company will also take part in the open lessons.
