Turkmen scientists have obtained from local materials biological products for diagnostics of the anthrax. They are necessary for suppliers of tanning raw materials as export of this production is possible only after material research on the Siberian ulcer.
Biological products carry names « anthrax precipitating serum from blood of a horse» and « standard bacterial anthrax antigen » (Ascoli antigen).
To develop diagnostic preparations on the basis of local raw materials it was possible to scientists of the Research-and-production centre of animal industries and veterinary science of Turkmen agricultural university named after S.A.Niyazov. The comment on this theme was published in the local press by the manager of laboratory of epizootiology of the given Centre Charymurat Arazov.
Preparations have passed all necessary laboratory and industrial tests. The normative and technical documents confirmed by supervising bodies were made.
The development has already successfully started to be applied in the cattle-breeding branch of Turkmenistan and has arrived in industrial production by the order of the State Veterinary Service of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Turkmenistan is the active exporter of tanning raw materials. Import replacing of expensive diagnostic preparations will help local suppliers to increase sales and to strengthen positions on the international market.
