Turkmenistan intends to expand existing cooperation with UNESCO, including with its Intergovernmental Committee for Physical Culture and Sports (CIGEPS). Turkmenistan has already been a member of this committee for the period 2017-2021 and is ready to nominate its candidacy for the CIGEPS membership for the period 2023-2027.
