Syria, Uganda and Burkina Faso join the Group of Friends of Neutrality

The Group of Friends of Neutrality for Peace, Security and Sustainable Development announced the admission of three new member countries: Burkina Faso, the Syrian Arab Republic and Uganda. “This will strengthen the Group's aspirations to establish global peace, security and achieve sustainable development goals based on the wider application of the principles of neutrality,” the message on the page of the Turkmen representation to the UN says.

On the sidelines of the international economic forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum", a meeting was held between the Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mammethan Chakyev, on the one hand, and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin, as well as the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, on the other.
