Turkmenistan participated in the meeting of the heads of the border troops in Baku

Ensuring stability at the state borders of the CIS countries was discussed in Baku. The 86th meeting of the Council of Commanders of the Border Troops of the Commonwealth countries was held in the Azerbaijani capital, Sputnik Azerbaijan informs.

Representatives of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan met at the same table. The parties discussed cooperation in the field of personnel training and joint exercises.

At the meeting, 19 documents on the issues of planning the activities of the Council of Commanders for the near and medium term were signed.

The next meeting will be held in Armenia in October this year.
