The Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan is actively working to ensure reliable power supply, build new generating capacities and export electricity. At the plenary meeting of the International Conference "Oil and GAZ Turkmenistan" (OGT -2024), the State Minister - Chairman of the State Council "Turkmengaz" Maksat Babaev spoke about the current and subsequent stages of the development of the Galkynysh field - the world's largest deposit of natural gas on land, which reserves together with the nearby located Yashlar and Garakel deposits are estimated at 27.4 trillion cubic meters.
