China Media Group expands platform supporting AI startups

China Media Group is continuing to air its "Winning with AI+" program, which is dedicated to building a major platform for artificial intelligence entrepreneurship in China.
The project uses a "media plus" approach to connect startups, investors, local governments, experts and researchers within a broader ecosystem supporting AI innovation.
Launched at the beginning of China's 15th Five-Year Plan period for 2026-2030, the program aims to identify scalable AI solutions and promising next-generation technology companies.
The second season of "Winning with AI+" has significantly expanded its recruitment network. A total of 29 roadshows have been held across eight innovation hubs — Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Tianjin, Hong Kong and Singapore.
More than 1,000 AI startups have participated, marking the program's transition from a primarily domestic focus toward broader international engagement.
In July, China Media Group also launched a special overseas edition of "Winning with AI+" at the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, where Chinese innovators presented their projects and engaged with international research institutions and organizations.
According to CCTV+, the project is aimed at supporting AI entrepreneurship and expanding international cooperation among Chinese technology companies.
