Ashgabat, October 3 | ORIENT. At a meeting of the Turkmen government dedicated to the first nine months of this year, Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov presented a report to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the fulfillment of planned targets in the oil and gas sector.
The Turkmennebit State Concern demonstrated outstanding results, exceeding its oil production plan by 9.7%.
Oil refinery workers also demonstrated high efficiency, exceeding the plan by 9.4%.
The fuel and energy sector units specializing in gasoline production demonstrated excellent performance, fulfilling the plan by 108.8%, which is only 0.6% less than the results of oil refineries.
Gas production companies, diesel fuel, and lubricating oil producers demonstrated the following results: gas production – 103.1%; diesel fuel production – 101%; lubricating oil production – 100%.
Positive indicators were achieved in the production of polypropylene, liquefied gas, and natural gas exports.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, assessing the results of the oil and gas sector, instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to strengthen efforts in the following areas: the discovery of new productive fields; the implementation of modern technologies; and the optimization of oil and gas refining processes.
