This possibility was discussed at a meeting between Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Seoul, Begench Durdyev, and President of the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Jong Woon Park, on Wednesday, March 27.
The issue was raised in the context of a discussion of educational contacts, including within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation in the scientific and educational field signed in 2019 between the Dovletmamed Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and the Hankuk University of Foreign Languages.
Separately, the line of interaction between the embassy and the university on holding joint events to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi was discussed.
Today, 45 foreign languages are taught at Hankuk University, which is the third highest number of foreign languages studied at one university in the world, after the French INALCO (93 languages) and the Russian MGIMO (53 languages).
