From March 1, the telecommunications company Turkmentelecom will reduce tariffs for unlimited Internet, and the maximum available connection speed will increase to 6 Mbps for individuals. This is reported on the website of the Turkmen provider.
The cost of tariffs will be as follows:
– 1 Mbit/sec. – 150 manats,
– 2 Mbit/sec. – 180 manats,
– 4 Mbit/sec. – 230 manats,
– 6 Mbit/sec. – 280 manats.
Tariffs of 256 Kbit/s and 512 Kbit/s will also be abolished. Internet users with a speed of 512 Kbit/s (previously it cost 150 manats) will be automatically transferred to the 1 Mbit/s tariff.
Previously, the maximum speed of unlimited Internet available to individuals was 2 Mbit/s. The tariff cost 200 manats per month.
