The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine joined the global relay of World Health Day by organizing a large-scale "Health Week" for students and the Turkmen diaspora. The series of events combined classic sports, intellectual matches, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

The week’s program was built on contrasts, highlighting the well-rounded development of the youth:
Strength and Endurance: Weightlifting and arm-wrestling tournaments were held directly at the diplomatic mission.
Urban Dynamics: A track-and-field race was charted through Kyiv’s iconic tourist routes and historical alleys, adding public visibility to the campaign.
Intellect: The marathon concluded with competitive chess and checkers tournaments.

During the meetings, diplomats noted that Turkmenistan is a recognized regional leader in the fight against tobacco. Youth anti-smoking initiatives, actively supported by students abroad, are a key component of the country’s long-term strategy in partnership with the WHO.

For the participating students, "Health Week" was more than just a competition—it was a way to synchronize with the rhythm of their homeland. The national motto of the year, dedicated to the "resolute winged steeds," was reflected in personal records and the strong spirit of unity within the Turkmen community in Ukraine.
